This installment is a sequel to the legendary Contra (1987) and the story continues the missions of Bill and Lance. In this case they must stop the alien force that attacked an allied base and possessed all its occupants, which puts the protagonists in the dilemma of not just fighting against aliens, but also their compatriots.

From the first level you can already feel the essence of the classic Contra, with a very imposing music and a shattered background as a result of the extraterrestrial attack. In addition, the adventure received a great improvement in the fluidity of the controls, so there are many more comforts than in its predecessor.

Get a blast from the past and get gritty in this old-school side scrolling shooter game! Shoot all your enemies and avoid getting shot in Contra! Play as the tough macho dude Bill Rizer and proceed to assault an island fortress and destroy everything that moves.

Contra is a classic 1987 sidescrolling shooter known for its nefarious difficulty. Although not as hard as other titles in the same console, this game is considered as an entry to the hardcore arcade gamer title. Avoid bullets, boulders, lasers, fireballs, and aliens as you play the commando agent Bill Rizer (Lance Bean for player 2). Complete dozens of levels and defeat the game bosses that are located at the end.

If you are having trouble completing the game, you may utilize the “Konami Code” cheat:
“Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start”
This gives the player 30 lives to start instead of the normal 3.
